چکیده
Steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP)-brain-computer interface (BCI) has fast input speeds, high accuracy, and a large number of inputs. The problem with SSVEP is the stress caused by flickering stimuli risk developing photosensitivity. In this study, we attempted to reduce flicker high-frequency SSVEP-BCI. addition, measured critical fusion frequency (CFF) at which humans cannot perceive investigated change in BCI performance below beyond CFF examine practicality results showed was 56.8 Hz. Also, an accuracy 58.75% for (56-70 Hz) SSVEP-BCI 90.5% low-frequency (26-40 For reason, could not obtain same as Therefore, it necessary consider use extremely stimulation improve analysis algorithm future.

Eliciting dual-frequency SSVEP using a hybrid SSVEP-P300 BCI
BACKGROUND Steady-state visual-evoked potential (SSVEP)-based brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) generate weak SSVEP with a monitor and cannot use harmonic frequencies, whereas P300-based BCIs need multiple stimulation sequences. These issues can decrease the information transfer rate (ITR). NEW METHOD In this paper, we introduce a novel hybrid SSVEP-P300 speller that generates dual-frequency S...

A promising approach for brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) employs the steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) for extracting control information. Main advantages of these SSVEP BCIs are a simple and low-cost setup, little effort to adjust the system parameters to the user and comparatively high information transfer rates (ITR). However, traditional frequency-coded SSVEP BCIs require the us...
متن کاملConcatenation Method for High-temporal Resolution SSVEP-BCI
Electroencephalographic (EEG) signals are generally non-stationary, however, nearly stationary brain responses, such as steady-state visually evoked potentials (SSVEP), can be recorded in response to repetitive stimuli. Although Fourier transform has precise resolution with long time windows (5 or 10 s for instance) to extract SSVEP response (1-100 Hz ranges), its resolution with shorter window...
متن کاملLASSO based stimulus frequency recognition model for SSVEP BCIs
Steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) has been increasingly used for the study of brain–computer interface (BCI). How to recognize SSVEP with shorter time and lower error rate is one of the key points to develop a more efficient SSVEP-based BCI. To achieve this goal, we make use of the sparsity constraint of the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) for the extraction o...
